But even this has several versions floating around, just like liblug, and
how's a newbie to know which one to use?
I don't know. I guess svgalib.org could have links to stable 3rd-party
helper libraries such as FreeImage, liblug, and even FreeType, but I'm
still thinking we should have our own deal -- something that someone
(maybe me) would be personally responsible for & willing to answer
questions & accept patches.
