A friend lent me a Mystique so I tried it, and it did not work. The driver reported 2MB SGRAM, whereas the manufacturer's label on the card indicates 4MB. XFree worked in 1024*768*24.
When I tried the vgatest program, it reported the Mystique, and after I selected a mode it displayed 2 or 3 blank lines and then it wouldn't do anything until I pressed control-c. It never switched to graphics mode.
I have a pentium 133, PCI, 16MB, slackware 7.1, kernel 2.2.16.
Do you believe its working for you and not for me might have something to do with the changes in the PCI bus from the pentium to the pentium mmx?
