Ok, I did what you specified which seemed to help the build get much
further along, but now it dies while compiling lrmi.c:

/home/bryan/svgalib-1.9.10/src/lrmi.c:16: asm/vm86.h: No such file or directory
/home/bryan/svgalib-1.9.10/src/lrmi.c:183: field 'vm' has incomplete type
...
/home/bryan/svgalib-1.9.10/src/lrmi.c:462: Internal compiler error in 'fixup_var_refs_1', at function.c:2082

There's other messages like CPU_386 undeclared and edx might be used
uninitialized in this function.

BTW, am I one of the first people to test this, 'cause I wasn't able to
find much in the archives besides the release of 1.9.9 and 1.9.10?

Thanks,
Bryan
