I have 2 PII machines that I have install RedHat 7.0 on with the same configuration. I installed the svgalib and svgalib-devel rpm's from the PowerTools CD. Everything works just fine on one machine (compiling wise) But, I can't seem to get the linker to work on my other machine. I get "unrefferenced ...... __global_cli" and "unrefferenced.... __global_sti" whenever I try to link with libvga. If I simply type gcc -lvga I get the standard "unrefferenced .... _main()" along with the __global_cli & __global_sti messages from libvga.so I've run ldconfig. Didn't help I've un-installed and installed both svgalib and svgalib-develk didn't make any difference. I've tried re-compiling gcc itself and still can't find what this is or why it is happening. I'm about to re-install everything and start from scratch! Any help would be greatly appreciated B-) _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
