Hi, I wrote a simple svgalib video player that plays avi, qt and mpeg files. it is at http://www.arava.co.il/matan/svgalib/cleanplayvideo.tar.gz Not many codecs are supported for avi and qt. Only 8 or 16 bit mono audio is supported, and only playing to 32 bit modes is currently supported, but those can be easily fixed. The codec problem is harde to solve. For quicktime and mpeg support, the program uses libraries written by Adam Williams <broadcast@earthling.net>, available from http://heroine.linuxbox.com A slightly modified version of the libraries, that is more fit for use with my program is at http://www.arava.co.il/matan/misc/videolibs.tar.gz -- Matan Ziv-Av. matan@svgalib.org
