I think this is the known problem with the VESA driver and glibc (which
you most probably are using in RH 5.0). These problems are fixed
in the 1.3.1 snapshots (at least they compile on my glibc box just fine
[and VESA driver even works now with my TNT, thanks to Matan Ziv-Av ;)])
