Matrox supplies excellent documentation for all its cards except its current 3D offering, the m3D, and that is only because that chipset is not theirs. All you have to do is register for their development program, which is free. Check their website, http://www.matrox.com. Please, don't bash Matrox for not providing information; their information is some of the best around. The lack of a svgalib driver has nothing to do with Matrox.
