how to init a graphics console ?

in order to reduce the space of my apply system, I erase all files and
leave two files ---my program and the kernel.
 but my program is a GUI program wrotten using svgalib-1.4.0.so,once it
run to function "__svgalib_open_devconsole()",the program will be
termined and display the error messages as following:

   "Not running in a graphics capable console,
   and unable to find one."

  can you tell  me  how to deal with it ?
