If I remember correctly, BMP's are usually aligned on a 4 byte boundary, therefore, even and odd don't matter. Since 90 is not a multiple of four, you get the stagger effect that you are experiencing. If you pad each scanline by two more bytes, things should start to look right. Hope this helps, Jack
