i was first curious as to whether svgalib could/would/does support
opengl/mesa3d stuff.  true, it already does kill X, but i've never seen an
opengl game for svgalib :(  secondly, are there non-linux ports somewhere?
if not i'd like to tackle a BSD one in the near future (i've been planning
on switching, or at least dual booting).  btw u have the by-far coolest
graphics implementation existing, for linux.  i was thinking ports to
other popular os's (not just bsd, but solaris, sco, etc etc) would make
svgalib that much more useful (and popular).  thanx; later		bj
