i -finally- figured out how to create my own root disk, and just tested out the VESA driver on my ATi All-In-Wonder on my NT box - worked perfectly for all modes up to 1280x1024x16M. Same problem as before, the font gets garbled on return to text mode and i must run setfont to be able to see again. Hope somebody can give me some info on the vga font, because this could be the last release of svgalib ever ;) *All* cards should be support, since any modern card supports VESA v1.2, if not VESA v2.0, and all the ancient cards have TSR's for VESA. Tho i must say, a 1.5second delay to load 2.5M of (automatically generated) config files, on a K6-200MHz, is quite a long delay.
